And the winner is...

The Czech State Institute for Drug Control (STÁTNÍ ÚSTAV PRO KONTROLU LÉČIV) for being the first medicines agency within the EU to respond to our request for their local medications index :-D

In fact the SUKL has a very mature Open Data portal where they share all of their extant medications data with the public.

In a very professional and welcome email we received the following information:

• The data on medicines in csv format is available here: https://opendata.sukl.cz/?q=katalog/databaze-lecivych-pripravku-dlp
• An API that provides data in json format in the same scope as Opendata is available here: https://prehledy.sukl.cz/docs/?url=/dlp.api.json#/

Of course we know that across the European Union, different agencies have different levels of data maturity, but we can say that the above is showing a lot of best practices which we encourage.
